A macaw parrot wearing a pirate hat drawn in November 2011 and chosen from my earlier watercolour pencil artwork.

This Macaw parrot print has been produced from my original hand-drawn watercolour pencil drawing. Purchase it directly from me, the artist, and choose from a range of common UK frame sizes from 6x4 up to A4. Frame not included.

They are a salty sea dog's friend: every pirate needs a parrot. This mischievous Macaw cartoon character wears a skull-and-cross-bones tricorne pirate hat and a gold diamond ring.

Watercolour pencils are special water soluble colouring pencils. With these I can literally paint with pencils, blending the vibrancy of a painting with the intricacy of fine pencil lines. A high resolution scan has been made of the original artwork and I exclusively produce prints and other items.
