My watercolour pencil drawing of the ‘Vertigo’ tightrope walkers, at the Château de Lassay, Lassay-les-Château (France) on Sunday 31 July 2016.

Whilst I drew this original picture the ‘Vertigo’ tightrope walkers set out along the ropes spanning the gaps between the chateau towers, during their performance at the Château de Lassay, Lassay-les-Château (Pays de la Loire, Mayenne, France) on a sunny afternoon, the last Sunday of July 2016. The result is this unique watercolour pencil drawing capturing this heart-stopping event.

This drawing was created on watercolour paper using Derwent watercolour pencils.
