This cute Robin red breasted bird was hand-drawn in September 2016 using watercolour pencils.

Inspired by the inquisitive and cheeky robin who quite happily perches very near-by in order to watch me gardening, no doubt ready to nip in and grab a worm or two whilst my back is turned! Little Robin red breasts regularly feature on Christmas cards, snow scenes and grace British gardens everywhere which is why the European Robin was the first drawing in my Native British Garden Birds collection.

My Native British Garden Birds collection features cherished wild and song birds that visit our gardens and green spaces here in the UK.

This drawing was created on watercolour paper using Derwent watercolour pencils.
