The male blackbird is exactly that, a black bird. Blackbirds are a regular visitor to gardens, even if they can be just a little bit destructive at times.

Hand-drawn in September 2016, this is the third drawing in my Native British Garden Birds collection.  The collection features wild and song birds that are regular visitors to gardens and green spaces in Britain.

This drawing was created on watercolour paper using Derwent watercolour pencils.
